Goal
Bridge Payment is a company that specializes in credit card processing for government agencies. Red Hawk built an Android harness application for payment terminals, which connects to a .NET Framework web application and allows users to pay with their credit card. Red Hawk updated this application to include QR Code scanning functionality to read the data that is necessary for the transaction, which eliminates the possibility of data entry errors by users and ensures accurate payments.

The payment app with QR Code processing allows merchants to receive payments easily and accurately, eliminating the possibility of errors caused during manual data entry by removing the need for customers to enter information.
RESULTS
- The payment app allows for many different payment flows. Customers can enter the transaction data manually or scan a QR Code containing the data to skip to the payment page. Customers can complete the payment on the terminal by swiping/tapping/inserting their Credit Card, using Apple Pay / Samsung Pay / Google Wallet / etc., or manually entering their CC information.
- QR Code scanning speeds up the payment process significantly and removes the user data entry process, eliminating the possibility of data entry errors.
- A secure admin portal allows Bridge Payment to configure the payment app and determine if QR Code scanning should be allowed per-terminal, as well as what format to expect the QR Code data to be.
