AI Opportunity Workshop Find Where AI Pays Off in Your Business

Most businesses don't struggle with a shortage of AI ideas, they struggle to know which ones are worth pursuing. Our AI Opportunity Matrix Workshops help you look across your existing workflows, surface the operational problems costing you the most, and translate them into clear, evaluable AI opportunities. Choose the format that fits where you are: work through our free rubric on your own to start identifying opportunities, or bring in a Red Hawk facilitator for a 60-minute executive session that ends with a single, decision-ready initiative.

Opportunity Identification

Opportunity Identification

Surface the high-cost, high-friction workflows in your business where AI can create real, measurable value.

Evaluation

Feasibility & Impact Evaluation

Translate a promising opportunity into a clear use case and evaluate its feasibility and business impact before you commit resources.

Cross-Functional Alignment

Cross-Functional Alignment

Bring operations, IT, finance, and leadership into the same room so everyone shares the same understanding of what to do next and why.

Why Leaders Choose This Workshop

Find the One Opportunity Worth Pursuing

Instead of evaluating dozens of competing AI tools, narrow the field to the single opportunity that will actually move your business forward.

Anchor in Real Operations

Start from your actual operational challenges, not abstract AI concepts or theoretical use cases.

Quantify the Opportunity

See the business value and financial impact of a potential AI initiative before you invest in it.

Build Shared Understanding

Leave the session with cross-functional alignment and peer learning, not a report that only one department reads.

Get a Decision, Not Just a Discussion

Walk away with a clear go or no-go, not another meeting on the calendar.

Move From Exploration to Execution

Turn general interest in AI into a single, actionable initiative you can start on immediately.

"The AI Opportunity Workshop walked us through a practical framework for identifying projects with real business value. The session helped identify operational friction points, evaluate opportunities based on business impact and feasibility, and prioritize where to focus next efforts. I would recommend the workshop to leaders looking to turn AI discussions into actionable and achievable business outcomes."

Erik C., IT Director, Pharmaceutical Company

Next Steps

Once you've left the workshop with a decision-ready AI initiative, the next step is proving it out. Depending on what your initiative looks like, that proof takes one of two forms.

TransformOS™ Proof of Concept

For initiatives centered on automating a workflow or deploying an AI agent, a TransformOS™ POC builds a working piece of your AI operating system around that one opportunity. You'll see it operating on your real data in your live environment, with measured results, before committing to a broader rollout.

Clickable Prototype

For initiatives centered on a new tool, interface, or decision-support system your team will use directly, a clickable prototype gives you an interactive, hands-on model of the solution. It lets stakeholders test the experience and validate the concept before any development work begins.

Not sure which fits your initiative? Schedule a conversation with our team and we'll help you figure out the right next step.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the facilitator-led workshop and the rubric download?

The facilitator-led workshop is a 60-minute facilitated executive session led by a Red Hawk consultant, walking your team through all seven steps of the framework in real time. The rubric download is a free, self-guided tool you and your team can work through on your own.

How is this different from the Tech Innovation Workshop?

The AI Opportunity Matrix Workshop helps you find and prioritize where AI can improve your existing workflows, before you've committed to a specific project. The Tech Innovation Workshop is for when you already have a specific app, mobile, or SaaS project in mind and need to validate its scope and feasibility.

Who should attend the facilitator-led session?

It's designed for leaders navigating efficiency, decision-making, or growth: owners, CEOs, presidents, and next-gen leaders, along with representatives from operations, IT, finance, and marketing.

What do we walk away with?

Attendees will receive participant worksheets as part of the workshop and will have a clear understanding of how to run the workshop internally with additional teams. After the workshop, attendees will have identified a single, decision-ready AI initiative: a clearly defined opportunity, evaluated for feasibility and business impact, with next steps for moving forward.

Is the facilitator-led workshop really free?

We offer a 60-minute executive-level workshop that really is free. We also offer a longer, more involved cross-functional team workshop, which is available as a paid engagement for a $5,000 fee.

Can we start with the rubric and move to the facilitator-led session later?

Yes. Many teams use the rubric to start identifying opportunities on their own, but if you are struggling with identifying those opportunities, then bringing in a Red Hawk facilitator in for the full 60-minute session would be the right next step. However, if your idea is well thought out, we can move straight into a proposal.
