We’re thrilled to introduce Troy Woolery as Red Hawk Technologies’ new Vice President, Business Development. Troy brings more than 15 years of experience helping enterprise organizations turn technology investments into real business outcomes, and he’s spent much of that time right here in the Greater Cincinnati region.
If you’ve worked in tech, consulting, or digital product circles around Cincinnati, there’s a good chance you’ve already crossed paths with Troy. If not, you’re about to. He’s the kind of leader who listens first, asks the questions that matter, and then builds solutions that actually fit the problem.
Troy joins us from Vaco/Highspring, a global professional services firm, where he most recently served as Director, Business Development for Technology Solutions. Before that, he spent five years as Director, Digital Delivery, where he grew the firm’s Digital Practice from 14 to 58 consultants in just 18 months and led more than 70 consulting engagements.
What stands out most about Troy’s track record is how consistently he moved client relationships beyond simple staffing and toward meaningful, outcome-driven work. Along the way, he helped deliver custom software and AI-enabled solutions for organizations like Procter & Gamble, Siemens, Kroger, PatientPoint, Novus Foods and FoodChain ID. Those projects ranged from a fulfillment center barcode scanning application to an AI and data platform that reports directly into executive leadership.
Troy has also worked on the client side. He served as a Global IT Manager at Procter & Gamble, led product strategy as a Senior Product Manager embedded at Kroger through Fusion Alliance, and directed user experience work at Grey Group for brands including Abbott Nutrition, Smucker’s, and Conagra. For three years he also taught user experience and digital strategy as an adjunct professor at Miami University.
He holds a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) and a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Ball State University.
Red Hawk has grown quickly over the past few years, and the businesses we serve are asking bigger questions. How do we put AI to work in a way that’s practical? How do we modernize the systems our teams depend on every day? How do we make sure custom software keeps delivering value long after launch?
Troy has spent his career helping leaders answer exactly those questions. He understands the delivery side of the work, not just the sales side, which means the conversations he leads start with a client’s goals and end with a plan our team can execute. His background in UX, product management, and AI strategy makes him a natural fit for the custom software, agentic AI, and SDaaS partnerships that define how Red Hawk works with clients.
In his new role, Troy will lead business development across our core markets, building relationships with mid-market organizations throughout Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky and helping them find the right path forward with technology.
Outside the office, Troy’s favorite place to be is wherever his family is. You’ll find him cheering from the stands at his kids’ games, catching their performances, heading out on family trips, or settling in for a movie night. And on a warm evening, there’s a good chance he’s relaxing out back by the pool with the people who matter most.
It’s that same people-first mindset that Troy brings to every client relationship, and it’s one of the many reasons we’re so glad to have him in the Nest.
