Medical Device Marketing - Product Demo Website

This project was produced in concert with an agency partner - Liaison Marketing Communications. Liaison produced the script and directed the voice over talent. Red Hawk designed and programmed the interactive product demonstration.

A rich user experience was required to convey the revolutionary design and feature set of the product. Red Hawk designed and programmed the presentation in a manner that allowed it to be deployed on CD-ROM and on a micro-site. Sales representatives used the CD-ROM to present the product as part of the initial marketing blitz.

Ecommerce Website Design - Aniara

One of many long-term clients, Aniara Diagnostica relies on Red Hawk for website design, programming, and support services. In 2009, we designed and programmed a new website for Aniara, integrating Miva Merchant to support e-commerce services. Several Miva Modules were researched and installed to extend the marketing and customer service capabilities of the website including; product ratings, related products promotion, RSS feeds from product categories, branded HTML order notification email templates, and order history.

Red Hawk regularly designs and programs interactive marketing initiatives to support Aniara's marketing staff. All of our efforts are integrated with Google Analytics, allowing us to effectively measure the marketing programs. We review data collected in Google Analytics with Aniara on a regular basis, and adjust PPC programs, microsites, and blogs accordingly.

Website to Promote Medical Device for Applied Spine

Red Hawk designed and programmed a website for Applied Spine to support the Company's new marketing initiatives. The website design process began with the development of user cases, prioritizing users in order of importance to the marketing initiative. The primary target audience for the website is Physicians. Prospective patients and family members make up the secondary audience. Content is segmented in an obvious manner to lead users to appropriate content.

Red Hawk worked with the medical illustration vendor selected for the project to direct visual style and treatment for the animations shown throughout the website.

A blog was seamlessly integrated to provide a simple CMS solution, allowing the Marketing Director to easily disseminate press releases without having to involve Red Hawk in the publishing process.

User engagement levels are being closely monitored. Google Analytics was integrated with the website to track user statistics, goals, and downloads. Interactive marketing campaigns, established to drive traffic, are also being tracked.

Website Design and Programming - Shepherd Color

The Shepherd Color website is fully-integrated with client data sources, and passes user-collected data from various points of conversion found throughout the website directly into the clients CRM solution. As is the case with most of our clients, we bridged the gap between the Marketing and IT Departments, developing a website that met both departments' strategic and technical requirements.

The website design process began with consultation services to define user cases. This led to the definition of the website feature set as well as the flow of content and navigation structure. Red Hawk's team of experts worked directly with members of Shepherd Color's IT department, developing webservice calls to integrating multiple features throughout the website with existing data sources.

We are particularly proud of the interactive color chart. This unique tool allows OEM's to quickly locate pigments that meet their specific application and regulatory requirements and to follow through by requesting samples. Requests are captured and passed to a webservice call where they are processed and integrated with the client's CRM solution. This is now a significant point of conversion on the website.

Industrial Website Design - Mach III Clutch

Mach III Clutch has been a long-term client of Matt Strippelhoff's, one of Red Hawk's founders. The Mach III website was re-designed over several months in late 2009.

Working directly with the President of Mach III, Matt and his team developed user profiles for the website, taking the time to understand users specific needs before developing the site map plan. Red Hawk moved forward the process and developed flow-charts for each user to define the navigation scheme and website feature set. We discovered that not all OEM's browse the same. This led to a Flash navigation component allowing users to browse products quickly by Types, Mounting Options, and Applications in addition to a comprehensive drop down menu navigation system.

We are particularly pleased with the results of a feature none of Mach III's competitors offer on their websites -- the option to request 3D CAD files in multiple formats for each product. This web application is proving to be a very effective point of conversion on the website, allowing Mach III to capture qualified leads.

Website to Promote SCION Event - Go Exposed

SCION has been hosting owner events on an annual basis for several years. Interactive marketing campaigns have been critical to effectively promote the events to SCION owners. Red Hawk produced the micro-site and supporting email marketing campaigns to promote the 2009 SCION Go Exposed Event.

Prior to 2009, the micro-sites produced were done so using Flash exclusively. The concepts were centered around the creation of a linear navigation experience. While the sites were stylistically and graphically appealing, they were cumbersome to navigate. The sites were difficult to maintain and were not optimized for search engine marketing.

Red Hawk was given the opportunity to meet with SCION marketing managers to discuss solutions to the aforementioned challenges. We quickly identified a feature set, supported through a variety of technologies, which addressed SCION's requirements for an interactive website that could easily be managed and scalable to support current and future event marketing efforts.

The interactive marketing program covered several stages.

STAGE 1: Event Promotion / Drive RSVP
The promotion was so successful, we exceeded RSVP capacity three days from launch. The rate of conversion was far greater in 2009 than prior years.

STAGE 2: Event Reminder / Event Schedule
A few weeks prior to the event, the micro-site was modified and another email campaign was launched to disseminate event details to registered SCION owners.

STAGE 3: Post Event / Gallery
Soon after the close of the event, Red Hawk published a photo gallery, published a post-event article, and executed a post-event survey to collect feedback from SCION owners.

STAGE 4: 2010 Planning Panel Promotion
In preparation for the 2010 event, SCION chose to engage SCION owners in the event planning process. Red Hawk supported the effort by modifying the micro-site to promote the SCION Planning Panel; programming a registration form and database to collect registrant data and producing a promotional email campaign.
