Industrial Website Design - Mach III Clutch
Mach III Clutch has been a long-term client of Matt Strippelhoff's, one of Red Hawk's founders. The Mach III website was re-designed over several months in late 2009.
Working directly with the President of Mach III, Matt and his team developed user profiles for the website, taking the time to understand users specific needs before developing the site map plan. Red Hawk moved forward the process and developed flow-charts for each user to define the navigation scheme and website feature set. We discovered that not all OEM's browse the same. This led to a Flash navigation component allowing users to browse products quickly by Types, Mounting Options, and Applications in addition to a comprehensive drop down menu navigation system.
We are particularly pleased with the results of a feature none of Mach III's competitors offer on their websites -- the option to request 3D CAD files in multiple formats for each product. This web application is proving to be a very effective point of conversion on the website, allowing Mach III to capture qualified leads.
