SCION has been hosting owner events on an annual basis for several years. Interactive marketing campaigns have been critical to effectively promote the events to SCION owners. Red Hawk produced the micro-site and supporting email marketing campaigns to promote the 2009, 2010, and 2011 SCION Go Exposed Events.
Prior to 2009, the micro-sites produced were done so using Flash exclusively. The concepts were centered around the creation of a linear navigation experience. While the sites were stylistically and graphically appealing, they were cumbersome to navigate. The sites were difficult to maintain and were not optimized for search engine marketing.
Red Hawk was given the opportunity to meet with SCION marketing managers to discuss solutions to the aforementioned challenges. We quickly identified a feature set, supported through a variety of technologies, which addressed SCION's requirements for an interactive website that could easily be managed and scalable to support current and future event marketing efforts.
