For more than two decades, A&P Technology, maker of Sharx™ brand braided reinforcement, has been a world leader in braiding technology and they continue to push the boundaries of possibility every day. Red Hawk was contracted by A&P Technology to design and program a new website that reflected the companies position in the market place and drive new business. Following Red Hawk's 4D Process, the website was completed on-time and on-budget. User profiles, defined during the Discover Process, were heavily leveraged to develop the website. Social bookmarks were integrated to allow for OEMs to quickly and easily share critical information with others, further driving purchase decisions. OEM's also have an option to submit a quick question. The quick question form is a simplified version of the contact us form. A braid calculator was programmed for OEM's to quickly and easily calculate braid requirements based on either angle or diameter. Google Analtyics was integrated to measure the effectiveness of the website and test assumptions defined during the Discover Process, empowering us to make adjustments based on user statistics. Red Hawk's CMS was integrated to support A&P content editors to support the ongoing management of the website. The project was a blast to work on and Red Hawk continues to provide web and interactive development services to A&P Technology today.
